Amazing food. Chicken strips off the special board were amazing. Probably best to order online and collect than wait. But you could have a coffee it Kitsch next door while you wait.
Stopped by after a walk along the canal. Great to see a new business and cannot fault the experience. Was informed at the time of ordering of a 10-15 minute wait for food. Well worth the wait. Burgers were absolutely delicious and made with quality ingredients. Patty was succulent and no fatty gristle like I’ve experienced with other takeaways. Fries were crispy, soft potato inside and seasoned to perfection. Chose to takeaway but option of seating outside available. Will definitely order from the Buttery Shack again. Great service and experience. Wish you every success with the business.
Food is phenomenal the service is second to none they taught me about halal and khutka (spelling may be wrong there) I spend alot of my time in the centre of town but I will happily take a walk along the canal to have this food again. Can't wait to come back
We ordered from the veggie/vegan alter-ego 'Hot Box' via Uber Eats, but have found I can also order by 'phone Really like the vegan 'chicken' nuggets & burgers - possibly Seitan-based (wheat gluten) by the texture. Good flavours, fresh salad in the burgers, great buns & mayo. Everything hot (I collected it). Also sell churros & waffles, but they're not on the online menu. Next time... To sum up - Excellent.
Good location and perfect for a take away while you walk along the canal side or to sit out in the open space of the QE2:park. At the moment there are only a few tables situated outside the buttery shack where you can sit down to enjoy your take away. Hopefully as they become more popular they will increase seating. Hours open vary but pretty decent times. With some 11am starts and at least 9pm finishes. There is limited parking but food service was pretty quick. Ten minutes max I would say. Not licensed but situated next to kitsch cafe and bar. I tried the dirty fries which was a good portion and easily enough for two to share. Menu also caters for vegans too. Definitely give the buttery shack a try ....I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
Food was delivered super quickly and nicely cooked, easily the best curly fries in the area and a decent sized portion. Wrap was a little on the small side for the cost and didn’t taste like the typical tikka flavour I was expecting but that’s not to say it was unpleasant in anyway. Not 100% convinced on the chicken used as it seemed like those frozen chunks you get as opposed to fresh chicken breast. Will definitely be interested to try other items on the menu
The pictured don't do the food justice. The burger is beyond anything I've ever tasted from a take away style eatery. The dirty fries were absolutely insane & the chicken wings were delightful. Nothing like 'standard' take away food, nothing at all greasy about it, over appearance was great and nothing was too much go ask of the guy serving us. Looking forward to our next trip already
First time visit on a warm Sunday afternoon. The Shack was quiet customer wise, but the staff were very friendly and food arrived quick. We all had something different, but it was on arrival, well presented and very tasty! It was a great first experience. Oh, and we stayed for dessert! Highly recommend visiting if you get the chance
